The (#60014) PALS® 9000 offers the highest standards
in state of the art RF (radio frequency) signaling utilizing 900MHz
spread spectrum technology. The 9000 can locate a person upon an
alarm condition when used in conjunction with Actall's IR Locators
(#60401), RF Locators (#60405), and Actall®'s patented Crisis
Controller® software. The 9000 units come standard with different
alarm types such as Panic, Pull-cord, and Person-Down alarms. All
9000 units are fully supervised for low battery, tamper, and inactivity.
They can also be upgraded for Staff Tracking, Guard Tour and Follow-Me-Video/Audio
options. For indoors locating, the PALS system only needs to see
the IR (Infrared) location code for a split second before the information
is stored inside the 9000 unit. Upon an activation of an alarm or
location movement the 9000 unit will transmit location information
and alarm type by RF (Radio Frequency) to the Monitoring CPU running
the Crisis Controller Software. The 9000 units come standard with
an IR Lapel Reader (#60110) for additional IR coverage when wearing
heavy jackets or clothing and a Nylon Holster (#50115) for protection
against the elements. When outdoor locating is required RF Locators
(#60405) can be used but only general location tunable from 40-200
feet is obtainable. Actall has found using RF Location indoors can
give inaccurate and unpredictable results. For more detailed information
please see our data sheets located in the registered area.
